Senior Marketing Analyst

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Develop insights to identify opportunities and drive product strategies. Gain insight into customer use of current products, untapped opportunities and buyer personas.

- Build automated dashboards and reports, craft analyses and tell stories with data to help our teams make better decisions

- Measure ROI of online and offline advertising campaigns

- Report on marketing KPIs like leads, conversion rates, website traffic and social media engagement

- Track email campaign metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates)

- Monitor budget distribution and performance of paid ad campaigns

- Conduct competitive research and analyze benchmarking data

- Recommend website and campaign optimizations

- Research and implement marketing tools to support our promotional projects (automation software, social media scheduling etc)

- Perform valid and reliable market research SWOT analysis

- Devise and evaluate methods for collecting data (Surveys, Questionnaires, Opinion Polls)

- Remain fully informed on market trends, other parties researches and implement best practices

- Analyzing different ad platform (Google Search, GDN, UAC, Video Ads, Facebook, Affiliate Channels) performance metrics

- Analyzing external and internal customer data using database queries (SQL, Access), spreadsheet (Excel) models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools, and campaign management software tools.

- Advising other marketing functions (App/ website, online/ offline advertising, brand, performance) as the knowledge owner for customer and market data.

Required skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field from top tier (IIT/IIIT/NIT/BITS) and work experience with 2-5 years experience in a Marketing analysis related profile for an internet company

- In-depth understanding of SEM campaign strategies and SEO practices

- Experience with PPC campaigns

- Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness with strong SQL skills

- The ability to clearly and effectively communicate the results of complex analyses

- Is detail oriented, with a strong passion for analytics and problem solving

- Is excited to work in a fast paced environment, is comfortable with making decisions in ambiguity, and has a strong bias for action.

- Experience with Google Analytics, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Strong background in statistical modeling and experience with statistical tools such R, Python, Spark, SAS or SPSS.

- Have hands-on experience with visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, D3.Js )
