Job Description : - Help design, implement and operate the risk processes and controls to improve the broader credit risk and controls framework for the Wholesale lending for Credit Saison. - Engage actively in the Due diligence discussions and field visits for all potential borrowers. Independently create a balanced risk note borrowers to help inform the Senior Leadership of possible risks. Actively participate on quarterly monitoring and borrower audits to identify risks. Create quarterly reports summarizing the credit health of wholesale portfolio. - Work closely with business teams and potential borrowers on possible sources of risk. Engage in discussions and provide Subject matter expert advice to limit risks through various options (lending constructs, contractual covenants, etc.). Undertake and improve financial and credit analysis for stress testing borrowers both before and after onboarding to control stress in portfolio. - Lead research, build, implementation and maintenance of wholesale credit loss models / internal credit rating models used for ECL purposes (PD, LGD, EAD). Own Interactions with Finance and Audit teams to resolve any questions/concerns with respect to Wholesale ECL allowances. Conceptualize and implement RAROC pricing guidance model for Wholesale vertical. - Monitor industry trends and present to senior executives. Identify and publish sector specific risks and opinions to guide business teams on which sectors are good to expand into and which sectors to avoid. - This role is a leadership role and reports directly into CRO. The person is expected to build and manage a team of 1-2 associates to deliver on the responsibilities above. Qualifications : &nbsp; - 7+ years of experience in risk management for debt lending to NBFCs in India - Strong Analytical and Communication skills. - Proficient in financial analysis and underwriting. - Master's degree or equivalent qualification in Finance / Business / Economics from Tier I Business Schools and B. Tech/B.E. from IITs/NITs. - Candidate with CFA / FRM certifications or substantial progress towards the certifications will be given a preference.
