Credit Risk - Supply Chain Finance for an NBFC
Job Responsibilities:
- Assessment & mitigation of risk in Anchor-led business by thoroughly analyzing the financials, business model, banking, and hygiene checks on dealers and vendors.
- Monitoring of SCF book and Collections;Setting up a framework for monitoring and collections and implementing the same.
- Meeting the dealers and vendors, an inspection of units, factories, and go-downs for underwriting and assessment of their needs.
- Ensure credit process and credit policy is implemented while approving and recommending supply chain cases.
- Engaging with the Business team for Anchor level assessment, and program features.
- Maintain TAT while Responsible for underwriting supply chain finance business.
- Taking reference checks from the market for dealers and suppliers.
- Monitoring escrow churns/credits.
- Tech build-out/ credit filter coding.
- Periodical/Annual review of existing cases.
- Portfolio Hygiene, manage periodic Stock Audits, follow up for PDDs, insurance, and escrow arrangements.
- Providing inputs on building internal Controls and credit risk and underwriting programs for Supply chain finance
- Tracking next due payments through MIS
Job Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance / CFA
- 2-8 years of relevant experience in financial services (specifically working capital credit appraisal)
- Experience with the Credit rating agencies, banks, and NBFCs will be preferred
- Should be good with numbers and be able to analyze balance sheets and P&L
- Having the ability to interact with promoters/CXOs of SMEs and glean information through physical discussions
- Experience in appraising working capital loans/Supply Chain finance cases for SMEs
- Ability to gather market intelligence regarding borrowers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work in a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
