Relevant experience in Fintech/BFSI is mandatory

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

- Lead a team of credit risk associates to deliver credit underwriting reports for the proposals

- Assess brands that apply for financing with a combination of financial, banking, and alternative data sets

- Capture and highlight deviations from the policy as well as a summary of the investment case

- Summarise proposals for internal approvals

- Maintain turnaround time and identify ways to improve it

- Build a data-first assessment process, liaising with our tech/product team to implement and tweak auto analysis rule engines and frameworks

Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience as a credit assessment manager for flow-based lending or banking based lending products

- Strong understanding of financial statements like balance sheets, profit and loss accounts, cash flow statements; bank statements; credit reports; sales ledgers; etc

- Very good understanding of documentation and processes related to lending pre-disbursement

- Qualified CA/ MBA finance from a tier 1 B School

- Proficient in MS Excel

- Experience supervising a small team of analysts
