Credit Risk Manager - Bank - CA

This is regarding opening with a Leading Pvt Bank as a Credit Risk manager

Designation: Credit Risk Manager

Experience:

- 8 + years of experience in a Bank in credit underwriting

- Experience and expertise in using Python / SAS / R.

Education: CA

NOTE: Looking for candidate from Banking background only

Job role:

- Put in place an unified governance framework for credit risk and make sure credit criteria are uniform.

- Proactive evaluation of credit risks and their effects to guarantee a sustainable credit portfolio

- Proactive monitoring of the credit portfolio by observation of external conditions/events and the use of additional instruments such as EWS, LRM, and SMA

- Actively oversee a group of credit staff to guarantee efficient Loan Review.

- Regularly hold review meetings with the heads of the relevant verticals and business segments to discuss the quality of their credit portfolio.

- Adherence to Basel principles and regulatory rules governing credit risk

- Make current credit and risk policies stronger. Add new procedures or policies to handle any newly discovered risks.

- Verify that the Bank only accepts credit risk that fits with its allowed appetite.
