Job Role: Credit Risk Analyst / Underwriter - Personal Loans

Job Purpose : Underwriting personal loan applications as per credit risk policies

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Loan processing in line with credit risk process and standard operating procedures (SOP- s).

- Loan processing by evaluating the identity, fraud and credit worthiness of the applicants in line with systems and SOPs established.

- Reviews credit history to assess credit worthiness of new prospective clients.

- A successful analyst must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and be able to make real time /accurate decisions.

- Ability to understand and apply risk management concepts; collect and analyse exposure and loss data,
respond efficiently and effectively to internal and external requests.

- Work with technology/credit team in design of production environment for developed models.

- Review and reconcile results against other internal data sources

- Communicate updates and results to senior management within Risk and the Business.

- Support in production of material to be distributed to regulators.

- Contribute to bettering the credit policies to maintain minimal NPA levels

- Keep updated about the credit risk process and suggest improvements to process and models.

Qualification:

- Minimum 3 years of underwriting experience in PL applications

- Having experience in handling the aforesaid functions in NBFCs or Fintech
