JOB DESCRIPTION:

Credit Research / Credit Report Writing: Copal Partner.

The role would involve credit analysis of high yield as well as investment grade companies to enable end clients take an objective view of investment opportunities. Candidate should also be able tomonitor the companies for key events and track the credit markets for new/existing issues, key developments in the credit domain affecting the bond markets across globe.

The candidate should be adept at following:

- Financial Analysis and Modeling

- Credit Analysis e.g. Ratings, Capital Structure, Covenant Analysis, amongst others

- Company and Industry Analysis

- Credit Report Writing

The candidate should have strong technical expertise toconduct the above analysis along with the ability towrite investor focused reports toclearly communicate the analysis/findings

Key Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Conducting credit research based on public information and writing credit reports on companies in multiple sectors which include: Oil & Gas, Energy Distribution, Utilities, Foods, Agriculture, Chemicals, Pharmacy, Mining, Steel, Shipping & Transportation, Aerospace/Defense, Telecom, High Tech Manufacturing and Durable goods

- Credit Research

- Writing credit reports on the companies based in Asia Pacific

- Comparable Company Analysis

- Comparison of the performance of the company with its peers

- Analyzing various multiples and ratios

- Comparing operating statistics and other ratios of the target company with its peers

- Trading comps and transaction comps

- Calculating the average multiples for the target industry

- Benchmarking Analysis

- Analysis of financial performance over the years tocheck various trends

- Comparing the performance of the company and its peers during business cycles

- Analysis of operating metrics

- Debt Research

- Debt sensitivity analysis, creating capital structures, analyzing covenants

- Company Valuation

- Using discounted cash flow method

- Valuing a company by forecasting the financials of the company

- On the basis of multiples used in the recent acquisitions in the same industry

Industry Research

- Industry overview, identifying growth drivers, analyzing past trends, SWOT analysis
