Credit Research Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Understanding of credit rating methodologies for corporates (S&P/Moody's/Fitch) and ability to carry out detailed credit benchmarking and Shadow rating analysis. And work with DCM team on RFPs or Client discussions around any future bond issuance

- Experience in capital structuring discussions; analyse a corporate's upcoming capital requirements and help identify appropriate capital sources to raise within the constraints of credit and financial policies of the company

- Solid financial modelling skills, some knowledge of PPT and ability to build and deliver client facing analysis in a Pitch Book format

- The candidate would be required to prepare detailed client presentations to support the origination effort of the bank across the suite of banking products including Sustainable Finance

- Should be comfortable in carrying out Sustainability research and analysis of companies across multiple sectors on ESG indicators

Qualification

- Minimum of 4-5 yrs of experience in Corporate finance

- Exposure to Financial modelling, basics of credit rating methodologies for corporates (S&P/ Moody's/Fitch)

- Experience in building an delivering client facing analysis in a Pitch Book format

- Demonstrated interest in sustainability in general and specific knowledge in Green & Social Bonds, sustainable finance or analysis of corporate sustainability strategy

- Excellent analytical skills and conceptual thinking aptitude

- MBA in Finance or Equivalent Post graduate education
