Drafting and implementation of Credit Policies for Loan Against Property
Defining policy guidelines.
- To conduct discussion with intent to understand and analyse associated risks in the business and financial standing of the borrower.
- Increasing the productivity of the entire team along with reduction in overall costs of operation.
- Launching various projects to increase the file hygiene.
- Reviewing and updating credit policy by analysing the portfolio and environmental changes.
- Regular interaction with collections to track delinquencies.
- To identify areas for automation and digitisation for improving growth and health of the portfolio and improving productivity of the credit team.
- To facilitate laying down standardised credit processes for the organization covering all policies, procedures and compliances. Standardisation of the process across region.
- Drive the implementation of new policies & amendments through proper communication/training to all relevant stakeholders in the organization.
- Monitor and ensure Credit related Regulatory and Legal compliances are followed thoroughly by the key role holders across departments
- Initiate write-off of non-recoverable accounts as per the defined policy and process
- Ensure Internal and External Risk assessment is being done for all the branches
- Provide inputs to Collections framework
- Monitor Flow and Related measures to ensure that NPAs / write-offs stay under control
- Work closely with Control functions like Audit and Vigilance to manage Portfolio Risk
