Job Description:

- As the Credit and Overseas Audit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team and conducting comprehensive credit audits for our corporate bank units and overseas branches.

- Your primary focus will be on managing concurrent audits, ensuring adherence to audit plans, and delivering high-quality audit reports within stipulated timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Audit Leadership: Lead and manage a team of auditors to conduct credit audits for corporate bank units and overseas branches.

- Coordinate audit activities, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely completion of audit tasks.

- Audit Planning and Risk Assessment: Develop audit plans and conduct risk assessments for credit and overseas units.

- Identify potential areas of risk and establish audit objectives to address these risks effectively.

- Data Analytics: Leverage data analytics tools and techniques to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audits.

- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of concern for deeper investigation.

- Timely Audit Execution: Ensure timely commencement and closure of audits according to the established audit plan.

- Monitor audit progress, address any delays or issues, and escalate as necessary to meet deadlines.

- Audit Reporting: Prepare comprehensive audit reports and synopses detailing audit findings, observations, and recommendations.

- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal audit standards and regulatory requirements.

- Quality Assurance: Maintain the quality of audit reports by ensuring correctness and consistency of data provided.

- Emphasize adherence to policies, internal guidelines, processes, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness of audits.

- Revenue Assurance and Risk Coverage: Evaluate revenue streams, assess revenue assurance processes, and identify areas for improvement.

- Provide comprehensive risk coverage by addressing key risks related to credit, operations, compliance, and reputation.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

- Master's degree or professional certification (e. g. , CIA, CISA, CPA) is preferred.

- 9-12 years of experience in internal audit, with a focus on credit audit and overseas operations within the banking sector.

- Strong understanding of credit risk management, loan underwriting practices, and international banking operations.

- Proficiency in audit planning, risk assessment, and audit execution methodologies.

- Experience in using data analytics tools (e. g. , ACL, IDEA, Tableau) to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead audit teams, interact with stakeholders, and present audit findings to senior management. Thorough knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal audit standards (e. g. , IIA standards), and best practices in audit governance and risk management.
