Role - Credit Manager
Location - Delhi
Experience - 5-8 years in retail underwriting within the vehicle finance sector. (2 Wheeler, Commercial Vehicles and 3 Wheeler)
Responsibilities:
- Assessing Creditworthiness: Evaluate applicants' credit-worthiness for the vehicle Loans (two-wheeler/three-wheeler/Electric Vehicle/Commercial Vehicles loans by analyzing financial statements, credit history, income sources, and repayment capacity.
- Developing Underwriting Guidelines: Create and maintain specific underwriting guidelines for two-wheeler/Electric Vehicle loans, ensuring compliance with regulations and company
policies.
- Risk assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments for each loan application, considering factors like loan amount, loan-to-value ratio, and borrower's credit profile.
- Decision making: Make informed decisions on loan approvals, rejections, or modifications based on credit analysis and risk assessment results.
- Documentation Review: Verify all loan applicant documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, operations, and legal departments to streamline underwriting processes and address any issues for efficient loan processing.
- Monitor portfolio performance by tracking repayment behavior and identifying early signs of delinquency or default in thevehicle loans portfolio.
- Take necessary corrective actions. Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and industry standards, including KYC norms and AML guidelines, when underwriting and approving vehicle loans (two-wheeler/three-wheeler/Electric Vehicle/Commercial Vehicles). Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to junior underwriters on underwriting policies and procedures to enhance their skills.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and refine underwriting processes and guidelines to improve efficiency, mitigate risks, and enhance overall loan quality and performance.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, risk assessment, and underwriting principles. Proficiency in using underwriting software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices in lending
