Job Description:
- Meet market constituent i.e. customers, financiers and do evaluation of the market and customers fairly and diligently in line with the approved credit policy.
- Perform credit and reference checks.
- Meet customers prior to credit approval. Mandatory credit visits would be defined based on exposure / industry which shall be adhered to prior to customer approval.
- Credit Approval of deals as per authorized limits and given TAT; recommends and forwards to appropriate authority in case of higher limit / deviation/deferral.
- Enforcement and adherence of the company credit policy at the branch level.
- Review and approval of credit files as per policy
- Regional risk reviews once in a quarter
- Review portfolio on a monthly level with respect to delinquency/losses/fraud of the portfolio underwritten for the following :
a) Bucket wise delinquency is under triggers
b) NCL within budgeted figures
c) Customers TOD level within acceptable norms
d) Non starter at minimum level
- Ensures timely renewal of Credit approvals ensuring satisfactory turnaround time.
- Gives early warning inputs regularly through market, industry and customer level feedback in order to avoid surprise delinquencies.
- Adheres to customer calling plan as per EW process
- Meets principals, other financiers regularly for market updates
