ROLE SUMMARY :

The Incumbent will be responsible for ensuring underwriting of mortgage loan applications including various activities of credit like Login, Data entry, Field investigation, Personal Discussion with client, Legal and technical report analysis with due adherence of various applicable guidelines within the reasonable & faster turnaround time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES :

Strategic/ Managerial Responsibilities :


- Underwriting of Mortgage Loan applications

- Cost Rationalization, Data Quality Improvement

- TAT Improvement, monitoring and reduction in TAT as an ongoing activity

- Conduct trainings for various stakeholders

Core Responsibilities :


- End to end managing of Mortgage loan applications i.e. from Login, DE to Underwriting, PDD/OTC management

- FI Agency management and reduction of TAT of FI agencies

- PD Agency empanelment & management

- Efficiency building and productivity enhancement.

- Maintaining MIS for various activities done by stakeholders to check efficiency and productivity

People Management or Self-Management Responsibilities -:


- Active participation in related discussions with business, credit, operations, policy etc.

- Client visits and regular interactions with various stakeholders.

- Self-driven, goal oriented & dynamic in nature.

Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities :


- Identify the gaps in the existing process/policies& highlights to the Senior Management

- Underwriting of files with due diligence, lesser TAT and better quality

- PDD/OTC Management

KEY INTERACTIONS :

Retail Risk Team :


- Discussion with policy, process, business, RCU and Operations team on various applicable points to ensure smooth and quick decisioning of loan applications.

Key External Interactions Purpose of Interaction :

- Vendor PD agency, FI agency on various check points which are important for credit point of view

- Discussion with Technical/legal teams on reports given on proposed property.

- Customer Client Visits to understand the business profile, scale, end use of funds etc.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE :

Minimum Qualifications : B.Com

Professional Certifications : Preferably CA

Language Skills : Local Language , English, Hindi

EXPERIENCE :

- Years of Experience - 2 to 3 years of relevant experience preferably from banks.

- Nature of Experience : Well versed with credit underwriting of Mortgage files i.e. Home loan and LAP

- Networking with peers in competition.

- Should exhibit strategic approach towards resolution of any issues

- Strong communication and co-ordination skills.
