Credit Fair - Credit Underwriter - SME/MSME

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. You will be responsible for processing loan applications based on established eligibility and underwriting guidelines.

2. Your high attention to detail and commitment to our mission will help make sure each applicant gets full and proper consideration through our loan application process.

3. Collaborating with both the operations and business development teams to ensure applications are completed in a timely manner.

4. Ability to identify and make recommendations for approval policy exceptions.

5. Analysing borrower data and trends while bringing a continuous improvement mind-set to deliver a better experience and scale our operations.

6. Evaluating the creditworthiness of potential customers.

7. Ensuring all loans and lending procedures comply with regulations.

8. Analysing and mitigating risks on new as well as existing customers.

9. Analyse Bank Statements, Financials, ITR & Other Income related documents

10. Personal discussions with customers to understand loan requirements, income stability, nature of business, current obligations, etc.

11. Maintain TAT

12. Prepare CAM Reports

13, Verifies accuracy of loan applications and records loan: Compares original application against credit report.

14. Complete awareness about KYC norms.

15. Activities include obtaining all necessary documents to prepare a release for recordation for the customer is fully satisfied.

Requirements & Skills:

1. Proven work experience of 1-3 as a Credit Underwriter/Manager from an NBFC/Bank

2. Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or similar field.

3. Good understanding of lending procedures.

4. Excellent analytical skills.

5. Good communication skills.

6. Good interpersonal skills.

7. Detail orientated.

8. Ability to deal with stressful situations.
