Credit Fair is looking for a CTO who is deeply passionate about fintech and believes in our mission of enabling financial inclusion for half a billion underserved Indians to move up the credit ladder. We're a responsible lending platform, backed by Village Capital, enabling access to new to credit and near prime customers by providing the Right Amount of credit, at the Right Cost (No Cost and Easy EMIs) and the Right Time i.e. at the point of sale for important life purchases such as healthcare, education, home renovation, rooftop solar and e-bikes. Our B2B2C origination model has proven and attractive unit economics and as a RBI approved NBFC we have the freedom to deploy our own algorithms to ensure highest approval rates and fastest Turnaround Time on loans. Our full stack lending model will require the CTO to be responsible for building and managing multiple cutting edge systems and infrastructure such as : - Design a robust API architecture to facilitate deep integrations with merchant partners and ensure we're a leader in embedded finance - Optimise ML based dynamic credit limit scoring and risk scorecards that help us limit our NPAs - Improve our rule engines to ensure 80% auto decisioning - Enforce highest levels of cybersecurity given our access to sensitive financial and healthcare data - Build intuitive consumer, merchant facing and CRM products with gamification to ensure Credit Fair is the most productive lender in the industry Our Expectations : - Proven track record of building large-scale and highly reliable cloud based applications. (e.g., Amazon AWS, Google App Engine, Hadoop, Microsoft Azure) - Built AI driven and/or fintech products - Is a learning machine with an ability to transition from current to new systems based on technology trends - Prior experience of defining and building the system architecture suitable for AI and big data - Delivered systems with best in class security protocols and adhered to regulatory requirements in terms of cybersecurity - Knowledge of robust API designing &amp; Monitoring - Experience with picking and applying good software practices like test driven development (TDD), continuous integration and continuous delivery. - Strong communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships - Managed a team of 15+ including DevOps - Knowledge of Laravel, React and Python is preferable What we offer : - Unique opportunity to improve financial well being of millions of Indians using AI, ML and best in class UX - Open environment where we celebrate our successes and failures - Work closely with the Founder and own a good chunk of the equity in addition to a competitive fixed salary - Fun location in the heart of Fort's street food vendors, Kala Ghoda's cafes and restaurants
