Key Responsibilities :

- Project Evaluation:

a. Conduct thorough financial analysis of project proposals, including cash flow projections, financial statements, and economic viability assessments.

b. Assess the technical, operational, and environmental aspects of the project to determine its feasibility and potential risks.

- Risk Assessment:

a. Evaluate the creditworthiness of project sponsors and stakeholders, considering their financial stability, industry experience, and track record.

b. Analyze market conditions, regulatory environments, and geopolitical factors that may impact the project's success.

- Financial Modeling:

a. Develop and maintain complex financial models to simulate various scenarios and assess the project's sensitivity to different economic variables.

b. Perform sensitivity analysis to identify potential risks and mitigation strategies.

- Credit Memorandum Preparation:

a. Prepare comprehensive credit memos summarizing the key findings from the analysis, including risk assessments, financial projections, and recommended credit terms.

b. Clearly articulate the rationale for the credit decision and any specific conditions or covenants required.

- Collaboration with Relationship Managers:

a. Work closely with Relationship Managers to gather necessary information, address client inquiries, and ensure a complete understanding of the project and client's financial situation.

- Regulatory Compliance:

a. Stay updated on relevant banking regulations, industry best practices, and compliance requirements related to project finance lending.

b. Ensure all credit assessments and approvals adhere to internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

- Portfolio Monitoring:

a. Monitor the performance of existing project finance loans in the bank's portfolio, including financial covenant compliance and project milestones.

b. Identify early warning signs of potential credit issues and recommend appropriate action.

- Industry Research:

a. Conduct industry-specific research and analysis to understand market trends, competitive dynamics, and potential impacts on project finance portfolios.
