Credit Analyst - Investment Bank

Client: A leading Investment Bank

Role : Credit Analyst

Education: CA/MBA with 5+ years experience in credit analysis

Base Location: Bangalore

Role Description: The role comprises working on credit risk assessment of corporate entities spread across multiple sectors and regions.

The job involves the following:

1. Undertaking research and analysis of corporate entities through thorough assessment of its credit strengths and weakness and weighing its business and financial risk profile.

2. Preparing a detailed credit assessment report and elaborately discuss the company profile and credit risk considerations.

3. Preparing a detailed peer analysis on the operating and financial side. Analyzing the business model, identifying strengths, weakness, risks, understanding the revenue models and the corporate structure of the businesses.

4. The task will also involve preparing and updating financial models for the clients which includes analysis of historic trends along with projecting the future performance.

5. Preparation of Project Information Memorandum which includes assessment and credit requirement, and preparation of various Bank Formats.

6) Preparing CMA, Analyzing the Financial statements, Business Model, Working Capital Cycles, and assessing the credit worthiness of the Corporate / SME Clients.

7) Preparation of Board notes of the Lenders. Answering the queries from banks on the proposal. Closely coordinating with the client.

Other activities include preparing industry databases and reports.

Skills Required:

- Should have 4+ years of experience credit risk assessment or credit research

- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts; especially, adjustments in calculation of adjusted earnings, cash flow and leverage metrics.
