PFB Job description in Detail :

- Carry-out initial Business and financial review of new and existing counterparties (Mutual funds, Pension funds, Institutional Funds and Investment Advisors) and grant approval to establish or renew a trading relationship with them;

- Prepare high quality analysis that address client credit risk / transaction risk and recommend credit rating to Risk department for approval;

- Develop strong credit judgment skills when recommending credit facilities, taking into consideration facility size, tenor, and suitability for client.

- Monitor the performance of Counterparties and conduct annual reviews;

- Coordinate all aspects of a credit request, liaising with relationship managers, business lines, legal staff, and Risk;

- Keep abreast of news/industry trend/regulatory changes which would potentially impact the counterparties and update stakeholders as appropriate;

- Set Credit limits and monitor utilization against them;

- Investigate breaches by contacting Front Office, Data Management and then take appropriate action as a part of end to end portfolio management;

- Support the trade approval process and negotiation of legal documents;

- Participating in ad-hoc projects e.g. development of rating models; process improvements, etc.

Required Skills / Experience :

- Professional degree holders such as CAs or MBAs from reputed institutes;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a must;

- Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

- Strong understanding of financial statements;

- Self-motivated, good interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to form successful working relationships;

- Ability to shift priorities and multi-tasking;

- Ability to work in a team oriented environment;

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel;

- Knowledge of US or European Fund Industry is must; and

- 2-5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis.
