Credit Analyst - Debt Mutual Fund - AMC

Company: A leading AMC part of a larger financial services group.

Job Summary:

a. Role: Credit Analyst

b. Reporting to : Debt Fund Manager

c. Work Location: Chennai/Mumbai

Responsibilities:

a) Independently manage the Debt Research of the Fixed Income Fund Management Team

b) Monitor the Credit Portfolio and suggest New Credit ideas from time to time.

c) Meet the management of the companies in the portfolio and come up with timely recommendations for the portfolio.

d) Do a pro-active review of all portfolio companies in the time stipulated by the Board.

e) Assist the fund management team in developing an appropriate Credit Portfolio.

f) Report to the Top Management and Board the status of the portfolio from time to time.

Qualification:

a) MBA or equivalent qualification / Chartered Accountant

b) Minimum of 3 to 7 years.

c) CFA qualification would an added advantage ( though not necessary)
