Credit Agricole - Assistant Manager - Accounting & Regulatory Reporting

Summary of the position:

- Responsible for preparation of Head Office Accounts (under French GAAP and IFRS GAAP) including related reporting with regard to Risk and Liquidity (Basel III) for CA-CIB India Branches and CA-CIB Shared Services Limited.

- Responsible for Local Statutory Requirements i.e. Financials, Regulatory Reporting and Prudential Risk consolidation.

- Ensure proper control over the general ledger with regard to accounting policies and internal control procedure.

Main duties:

- Defining/implementing the accounting policies (IFRS/French/Local GAAP) of the bank.

- Monitoring the books of account, to ensure that the books of account reflect, on a timely basis, a consistent and accurate view of the transactions conducted by the bank.

- Ensuring ISIS Controls and SAW applications of Head Office are properly reviewed, monitored and controlled as per the defined schedules.

- Reporting to Head Office for LEA/BFC and analytical reviews.

- Statutory/Head Office/Regulatory audits, Certifications and other ad-hoc reporting.

- Monitoring local and overseas bank reconciliations.

- Undertaking specific projects as delegated by Financial Controller (E.g. Implementing new accounting software).

- Preparation of Local Accounts (including computation of Basel III CRAR) and Long Form Audit Report (LFAR).

- Preparation of all RBI returns pertaining to Finance Control (RBS, RCA, DSB, FORM A, Special Returns, BAL, Nostro Vostro, Special Return VI-AB, Overseas Foreign Currency Borrowings, QCCPs exposure reporting, BSR, LCR/NSFR and Data Collector related etc.)

- Standing as a back-up for the team member in the Accounting and Regulatory Reporting.

Candidate's technical skills:

- Very good knowledge of accounting policies (IAS, French GAAP, Local Norms).

- Strong analytical skills for reporting local & HO requirements.

- Exposure to Basel II reporting.
