Creative Program Manager - Digital Radio/Internet Radio

Position : Creative Program Manager (Digital Radio Station)

The Digital (Internet) Radio Station is from India's largest chain of private FM stations, and is counted as India's largest and fastest growing Internet Radio Station.

Critical Skills required :

- Experience in creative copy-writing (for ads)

- Good knowledge of Music (English & Hindi), and well versed with the Indian Film Industry

- Proven Creative skills in generating ideas for shows/ promos or ads/ concepts, typically seen in Creative Programming Managers

Purpose of the Job:

Primary Responsibilities of the role would be:

- Managing the sound-scape of the internet radio stations though appropriate process and system interventions and resource optimization

- Keeping track of new music releases - English as well as Hindi

- Playlist Management, Talent Management, RCS (Sound Software) and database Management

- Generating ideas for shows, promos, concepts for Digital Internet radio stations and its clients

- Supervising the creative-content and quality of Program Promos / Channel Promos and other packaging elements

- Implementing client integration

Liaison:

1. Internal : Programming Team

2. External : Music labels

- The targeted person should be fluent in English and Hindi.

- The person's thinking and work-output to date should reflect a high order of Creativity.

- The target person should have been an ideator and creator of Services/ Events/ Programs/ Advertising.

Other responsibilities:

- Work closely with sales / business heads to influence client decision and help sell the concept

- Have a very thorough and clear knowledge of customer needs and purchase triggers, so that those can be converted to develop effective concepts for clients.
