A Creative Director is in charge of the creative department at advertising and marketing companies. Their duties include planning company advertisements, monitoring brand campaigns, revising presentations, and shaping brand standards. Also referred to as a Design Director.
1. Drive strategic goals of the organization through design thinking
2. Translate complex problems into compelling solutions with a user-centric and data-driven approach
3. Partner with Product Managers, stakeholders and executives to create a vision and strategy for products and features ensuring the experience is on brand, achieves business goals and delivers value to end users
4. Provide UX scoping and project definition in alignment with the needs of the business
5. Manage the design and user research functions
6. Oversee and participate in the design process, from concept and strategy, to wireframe, UX and UI design, prototyping, testing and final execution
7. Facilitate feedback cycles for potential design solutions from multiple internal and external stakeholders
8. Lead activities across the UX team, ensuring quality of design, timeliness of project deliverables, and prioritizing work/resources while guiding and mentoring team members
9. Oversee visual identity and product designs
10. Create an inspiring experience for client, the most widely recognized person-to-person microfinance site on the web today
11. Ensure consistency of UX, UI and brand design throughout companies products, systems and marketing campaigns
12. Collaborate with product, marketing and engineering teams to identify opportunities to improve user experiences throughout the ecosystem
