Creative Director
Role Description :
- Provide overall creative direction (from concept through completion) to organisation's Digital Media Services in collaboration with key stakeholders for all product streams including (Video, Print, Music and Broadcast)
- Lead the creative inputs that form basis of design and development/enhancement of organisation's Digital Media product streams
- Formulate innovative concepts that support the company's brand, marketing and product development goals
- Direct the creative function so that the environment, team capabilities, tools, processes and other elements support the strategic goals of organisation's Digital Media
- Manage creative budget including product development, marketing, branding etc. in discussion with the CEO, Head of Product Management, Finance and CMO
- Develop business case justifications and cost/benefit analysis for product development, marketing, branding etc. spending and initiatives
- Understand customer needs across product streams and devise state of the art user experience strategies and applications in alignment
- Collaborate with CEO, CMO, Head of Product Management and CTO to ensure best in class user interface and experience is delivered
- Develop appropriate governance frameworks, best practices and standards to ensure user experience is delivered as promised
- Build and leverage a team of internal resources to ensure user experience is delivered to all customers as defined
- Work closely with CEO, Head of Product Management and CMO/marketing team to define the marketing and branding strategy for organisation's Digital Media Services
- Develop pre and post launch marketing and branding roadmap for all product streams
- Evaluate customer conversion rates, tailor marketing and branding strategy accordingly
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data to tailor marketing and branding initiatives accordingly
- Build and maintain relationships with third party service provides for marketing and branding services
- Represent organisation's Digital Media Services at Media forums and conferences
- Continually monitor and improve the overall performance of the creative team
- Cascade and manage goals to enable direct reportees to identify, research, and develop best in class user experience
- Lead and grow the development of creative department and/or organization through both domain and organization leadership
- Establish and implement standards of performance, policies and procedures and make policy changes as necessary
- Understand the other business and align media to it
Desired qualifications :
Education : MBA or equivalent from a top tier Institute is desirable
Experience :
- 12+ years of experience in related industry with 4-5 years of relevant experience
- Experience as Creative Director for a Digital Media Services firm
- Extensive demonstrated success in Digital Media
-Extensive experience with managing large creative teams across multiple digital media product streams
- Experience working in or with as many multiple digital media product streams is a plus
- Experience of working across business units
