Overview

The Creative Director provides vision and strategy for the growth of the creative department, is responsible for allocation of resources and revenue delivery. Creative Director recruits, manages, leads and inspires creative professionals including Art Directors, Copywriters/Content Writer, Designers, Information Architects and Technology Professionals. Creative Director shall motivate the department to deliver excellent, innovative and creative, with special emphasis on full service integration. Creative Director is responsible for the presentation (and selling) of creative services to internal management and clients, and works closely with internal teams to ensure innovation and - Solutions- that ensures the delivery as per the Client/Brand guidelines/objective seamlessly.

Areas of Accountability

- Creative delivery - on time, on quality and on budget

- Accountable for leadership and vision in four primary areas:

Creative Product

- Oversee all creative development from concept to final delivery

- Provide proactive contribution to clients- business, demonstrating best-in-class interactive product (innovation and quality)

- Drive collaboration with other verticals to meet client's marketing objectives and ensure integrated, synergistic creative approach.

- Final approval authority and responsibility on all Creative Service

- Partner and collaborate with other regional Creative Directors to ensure collaborative creative philosophy and focus

- Fosters innovation and quality to ensure delivery of best creative product in the industry

- Provide insight and analysis of interactive creative trends/projections

- Be the User experience subject matter expert

Department Management

- Leads and manages Creative Department

Attracts and retains top interactive creative talent

Stewards career management and mentorship

Ensures strong morale

- Oversees flawless delivery of Creative deliverables in Process

Both documents and final product

- Escalation point for all team members and final approval and responsibility on all Creative output

Client Leadership

- Provide thought-leadership for clients in the area of interactive marketing and creative services

- Lead Creative meetings/aspects of meetings

Business Development

- Lead and win the pitch process

Requirements

- Capable to lead, present and sell effectively

- Commands respect among clients and internal constituencies

- Enthusiasm for IA, interactive category and innovation

- Bachelor's degree

- Must have 8 + years in creative role in an advertising agency, and 4+ years in as ACD or equivalent position with a digital agency

- Integrated/DM a plus

- Strong management experience including: team/dept, budget, major and multiple client relationship and campaign

- Proven skills on large projects User experience, research, design and development

- Excellent presentation skills
