About the job:

A leading and award winning brand is on a look out for an Creative Director

This role is responsible for design of visual concepts, to translate ideas and strategies (from Creative Head) that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers. The Art Director is responsible for ensuring creative and technology-appropriate design to meet the customers requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with Clients / Client Service / Project Manager to understand the Client requirement and briefing / advising Production team / Visualisers with regard to design style, format, production and timescales

- Design moodboards, appropriate style guides (fonts, colours, iconography, imagery) for the creative strategy

- The resilience to perform under pressure and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines

- Good awareness of digital media and evolving online platforms

- Understand the objective and provide solutions by finding ways and means cutting across functions.

- Identify and provide non-standard solutions novel ideas

- Keeping abreast of the latest trends across functions and initiate to apply in day-today work - Strong knowledge of typography, image manipulation and illustration

- The confidence to explain and support your thinking, both internally and externally

- Commit and adhere to estimates of delivery and effort

- Participate in project effort estimations

- Allocate resources appropriately for optimal output and delivery

- Manage multiple projects and designers

- Liaise with client service and UI / Technical teams to determine their requirements

- Develop effective concepts, graphics and layouts

- Review final layouts and suggest improvements if required

- Present the design to Client Servicing team or the Creative Head

- Address and implement feedback

- Present to client if necessary

People Responsibilities:

- Ensure skill levels of self and team are up to Rage standards, and participate in training programs

- Engage employees through regular feedback and reviews

- Ensure employee retention

- Participate in recruitment for the team

Organisational Responsibilities:

- Work towards award-winning creatives

- Understand business and commercial implications to provide solutions
