We're on a hunt for a charismatic rockstar to lead the Career Services & Alumni Relations team at Pearl Academy!
A flamboyant yet seasoned professional from Corporate Relations background who is strongly connected with eminent members in Fashion, Design and Media industry and has previously managed placements, industry partnerships and alumni relations for a creative institute.
Role: Head-Career Services & Alumni Relations
Location: Pearl Academy, Delhi (West)
Area of Operation: PAN India
Nature of Job: Full-time
Minimum work experience required: Between 15-18 years.
Education Background: Master's degree
Work Timings: Mon-Fri | 8:00AM-5PM
Responsibilities:
- Leading the team for Student placements in Fashion/ Media/ Design industry, Alumni relations & Industry partnerships.
- Team Management, Account Management, internal/external/cross-functional stakeholder management, Building and growing relevant industry database.
- Networking, building relevant industry connects and convincing companies (Design/ Fashion/ Media) for partnership.
- Planning, strategizing, and managing execution of upcoming and ongoing placement drives.
- Ensuring maximum number of quality placements and highest packages.
- Ensuring recurrent business.
- Maintaining a weekly, monthly, annual track of placements and team target achievement.
- High level of Interpersonal and networking skills.
- Good exposure/presence in social networking platforms.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Strong Presentation Abilities, must be an out of the box thinker and excellent team player
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work in stretched timelines.
- Do New Business Development and achieve targets.
- Manage the communication of the organization with clients via means like emails, telephones, and websites.
- Act as link between the organization and the clients to ensure clients take more interest in products and services rendered by the business organization.
- Undertake and monitor research to provide highly needed support for the business development.
- Act as front-line for all domestic activities with Partners/students for queries related to partnerships/collaboration and related activities.
- Acquire market intelligence enabling the identification of new opportunities to optimize student experience.
- Planning and execution of Orientation/Induction of Students.
- Organizing partnership meetings/visits in coordination with other departments/faculty members/ staff.
- Prepare and maintain the database of all connects.
- Coordinate social media platforms/promotions of all international activities in liaison with the Marketing team.
- The role requires travel to campus or other locations as per need/regular intervals.
- Ability to work independently with cross functional teams.
- Ability to work at a fast pace with minimal supervision; adaptability; and willingness to learn.
Key Competencies: This role involves lot of new business development as well as retaining old partners. Coordination with Industry, students, faculties and other stake holders.
Key skills include New Business development, excellent communication, team coordination, teamwork, sound understanding of courses and curriculum, client's nature of business and various requirements and vacancies, market scenario, problem solving skills and handling students counselling and queries related to partnerships.
