We have collaborated extensively with leading multilateral agencies including GIZ, CIMMYT, World Bank, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Asian Development Bank, International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), Food Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations, International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), among others. We work closely with the Ministry of Agriculture at the national and state level focusing on agricultural and livestock-related projects. The position will be based in Delhi. Job Responsibilities Human Resource Management : - Establishing manpower requirement by studying organization plans and objectives and coordinating with the Director to understand their expectation and requirement - Work Closely with Hiring Managers for developing position profiles - Responsible for end to end recruitment and selection process. - Responsible for sourcing, screening, short listing and closure formalities such as Salary negotiation, reference checks - Prepares letter of offer to selected candidates and letter of rejection to unsuccessful candidates - Facilitates the joining process for new-hires and conducts HR orientation/induction program for them - Provide operational support on Performance Management Cycle: Performance Review, Salary Review, Promotions, and Performance Improvement Plans processes - Maintain and update leave and attendance data of employees. - Ensure full compliance with local legislation and HR policies and procedures - Collate consultant's invoices and timesheets on the monthly basis - Perform any other task assigned by the supervisor Administration : - Ensuring quality and consistency of contracts, providing support in drafting and quality check of TOR's and tendering documents. - Ensuring timely approval for the closing of contracts, extensions or renewals, timely delivery and settlement of invoices. - Assistance to the team leader and technical experts in coordination and implementation of project activities. - Responsible for organizing administrative and logistical aspects of activities and events (meetings, conferences, workshops etc.) Qualification and Experience - MBA or Master's in Human Resource Management/People Management or a related discipline. - Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resource Management in development sector and social sector - High level of confidentiality and ability to work independently - Excellent Interpersonal and negotiation skills - Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. - Able to be flexible in taking up tasks outside of regular job responsibilities as required - Ability to perform within deadlines - Disciplined professional with strong Integrity. - Ability to perform within deadlines
