Job Description:
The Job involves managing the role of IT PMO. The Key Responsibilities will include:
- Run, Own & Manage the IT PMO for the client, managing multiple Projects.
- Interfacing directly with the CIOs & Key Vertical Heads of IT, besides aligning with Business leads (for cross-functional projects).
- Manage project schedules, identify possible issues and clearly communicate them to project stakeholders.
- Managing Cost & Time over-run.
- Provide regular updates to management team to ensure appropriate exposure of issues and challenges
- One of the hallmark of the responsibility will be to channelize the follow-ups & feedbacks across various projects.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, with a minimum 3-8 years of experience, out of which 1-2 years shall be in Project Management Experience with managing multiple IT Projects simultaneously; Hands-on experience in driving full life cycle projects.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to filter and distill relevant information for the right audience.
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices. Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is Mandatory.
- Excellent business writing skills, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and to identify, assess, and solve problems efficiently.
- Experience in ITIL processes is desirable.
- Proficiency at Project management Tools (MS Project, PPM Studio, Jira etc...)
