Operational Intelligence (OI) provides strategic direction to CRE Management, Business Partners, and specialist functions through the provision of meaningful and actionable insights to help understand customer needs and satisfaction, and help drive space and cost optimization. The outcomes are improved customer advocacy and better quality data.

Operational Intelligence is at the heart of a successful CRE function, requiring specialist advisory and analytical skills.

Job Summary:

The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Operational Intelligence team responsible for ensuring the business makes better decisions through collection and usage of data. Ensures business data and analysis requirements are met by properly applying data concepts, including data structures, collection and cleansing, and structured and unstructured data analysis and reporting. Ability to collect, analyse, manipulate, use data visualisation techniques, and report on commercial real estate data.

This role carries a niche requirement in terms of expertise in data visualization.

This role is responsible for:


1. Perform strategic analysis of structured and unstructured data across multiple data sources, reflecting global real estate markets and the operations of real estate assets

2. Develops data structures and pipelines to organize, collect, cleanse, and standardize data in order to generate actionable insights and address reporting needs

3. Defines data requirements and gathers and validates information, using judgment and statistical tests

4. Identifies and troubleshoots data integration and integrity issues in cooperation with the appropriate business units; designs work flows and procedures

5. Identifies opportunities to maximize data usage, applying modeling and optimization methods to develop new strategies and improve business performance

6. Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions

7. Utilize Alteryx and Tableau to create end-to-end and automated reporting solutions

8. Design and Deploy tableau output views on par with industry standards in terms of visual appeal, ease of use and understanding

9. Work closely with wider OI teams, Business Analysts and Project Leads to empower our lines of business with robust business intelligence

10. Extensive engagement with users (including senior management) for understanding & translating their requirements into user-friendly dashboards

11. Train new joiners in the wider OI team / new users on the projects undertaken

12. The incumbent will be expected to up-skill on an ongoing basis to also venture into Advanced Analytics and be familiar with data science languages like Python and R.
