Job Role :
The Commercial Programs Business Operations Analyst is primarily responsible for the ongoing operations and improvement of the sales and partner incentive programs that APJ Commercial runs (excluding Partner Plus) :
- Support Program Leads in the operations of the partner incentives and sales programs
- Provide analytics support for the development of new sales and partner incentive programs, and for strategic projects within the Commercial Sales team
- Analyze customer and partner data to generate insights for the improvement and execution of Commercial programs
- Collaborate with the multiple cross-functional organizations across the Region as including marketing, architecture, sales teams, partner or and distribution to execute Commercial Programs
- Develop presentation and analysis for business reviews with key stakeholders on Commercial Programs Performance
- Understand the rules of each partner incentive program and how partners can earn incentives under each program accelerator
- Perform partner performance analysis with support of the vendor by validating against Cisco finance and distribution data
- Work with the vendor to allocate incentive points based on program rules and deal with exception cases as needed
- Work with country teams (PAMs, DPAMs and TAMs) on program execution
- Deal with escalations from the vendor/partner as needed with regards to the partner incentives
- Deliver analytics support for the setting up of quarterly and annual incentives and measurement of the impact of these programs
- Drive partner recruitment to join the incentive programs
- Monitor program spend against budget, calculate ROI of program against goal, ensure that financial forecasts are accurate
- Provide operations support to launch the incentives in a timely manner each quarter by working with marketing team, the vendor and the country teams
- Work with external platform vendor(s) on continuous improvement of business processes and operations related to the partner incentive programs, including automation of existing processes
Desired Skills and qualifications :
- 6+ years experience in finance, sales operations or program management in the IT industry (preferable)
- Strong analytical capabilities:comfortable with financial modeling, performance measurement and analysis, ROI measurement and analysis, etc.
- Ability to work independently and provide support to teams working remotely
- Excellent written, verbal communication, listening and presentation skills. Able to articulate complex ideas and strategies to people at all levels of the organization.
- Familiarity with Cisco's products, architectures and services offerings and experience in the IT industry is an added plus
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
