Role : Business Development Lead
Department : House of Demand
Experience : 2 - 4 years preferably in a fast paced startup environment.
Education : Bachelor's/ Master's Degree from a Tier-1 College
Roles And Responsibilities :
1. Sales and Business Development :
- Identify and target potential customers through market research, industry analysis, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with customers, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
2. Product Knowledge :
- Develop a deep understanding of product portfolio.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive products.
3. Market Research :
- Monitor industry trends, competitive products, and market dynamics.
- Identify new opportunities and challenges in the chemical industry.
4. Reporting :
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales and sourcing records, reports, and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors/Masters degree from Tier-1 colleges Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in B2B sales at an early stage or growth stage startup
- Customer empathy & strong communication skills - the ability to get deep into how the customer thinks, understand their pain points and come up with solutions/ improve value proposition Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Leadership and effective stakeholder management capabilities Humble, kind, empathetic and open to feedback (super duper important)
- Open to learning new stuff (super important)
