Designation- Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager

Job Overview :

- The marketing manager will be in charge of overseeing the promotion and developing the brand image of the company. It includes responsibilities like working on the brand and marketing strategy, tracking and analysing the performance of advertising campaigns and managing the marketing budget.

- The marketing manager will also be responsible for putting together estimates and budgets for marketing campaigns, submitting them for approval, working with advertising agencies, being involved in negotiations, preparing sales and advertising contracts, and reviewing advertising material such as print material, tv commercials, and online advertisements.

- The manager will also assist with internal and external communication of the company. He / she will also be required to act as a coordinator in the area of events. This covers relationship building and account management, as well as event management.

Roles and responsibilities :

- Owning and creating promotional information to drive the business

- Develop marketing strategies and tactics to get the word out about the company and drive qualified traffic to the front door

- Develop strategies in such a manner that it would target the right audience

- Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution

- Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis

- Build marketing programs to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments

- Build strategic relationships and partners with key industry players, agencies and vendors

- Propose and manage marketing research projects to generate consumer insights in support of improving marketing strategy and communications

- Troubleshooting marketing campaigns that are not performing well

- Work closely with the PR and sales teams to bring alignment with regard to all marketing strategies and campaigns

- Organise and prepare all marketing content for social media platforms and for any type of external communication

- Present and update the performance of all marketing campaigns and gather metrics to evaluate the success of the same

- Analysing customer feedback from social media platforms

- Analysing advertising returns and reporting to top management

- Aligning communication strategies across all aspects of the organization's business to establish and maintain clear brand awareness and highly favorable impressions.

- Identifying and taking advantage of emerging digital media to leverage the organization's activities on all social media platforms.

- Content writing for various collateral.

- Manage all pre-event planning, organising guest speakers and delegate packs coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget

- Manage a team of staff, giving full briefings

Qualification and competencies :

Post-Graduation in Business Management/ Communication / Marketing will be preferred

Experience of 10 - 14 years in a similar profile

Agency + In-house tech communications experience preferred; campaign/policy experience and strong experience in copywriting a plus

Excellent proficiency in English (Verbal & Written)

Confident communication skills via email, over the phone, and face to face

Exposure in digital & social media marketing with proficiency in web and social media analytics

Good understanding of the different communication channels, products, and tools and how they can be best used to the organization's benefit.

Computer skills in MS Office, email, PowerPoint, etc.

Must have conceived events for service or social companies or Trade Bodies.

Ability to Detail all aspects of the event.

Develop a strong relationship with internal departments like content, design, and SM for smooth conduct of the event.

Engagement skills - especially in ensuring success and active participation of attendees.

Ability to build effective sponsor and donor base or have handled similar activity

A passion for storytelling

Strong project management experience and organizational skills
