About the Role

The role has following opportunities:

- Disrupt the insurance distribution ecosystem using technology advancement

- Leadership opportunity with high accountability towards this

- Directly contribute towards business outcomes using existing technology products and new business lines by building innovative solutions for prospective markets

Key responsibilities:

- Lead the technology team of 50+ developers, testers, integration specialists, etc

- Envision, create and ideate the product road-map and new product lines along with different stakeholders

- Hire capable and energetic people around yourself to deliver on this roadmap

- Architect and design new systems and continuously improve the existing systems using cutting edge & scalable technologies to build scalable & robust technology platform

- Manage and maintain the existing tech-stack to ensure business-as-usual remains unimpacted, infrastructure management and timely releases of product features

Your key qualifications & competencies:

- Should have strong skills to proactively understand the new & emerging technologies and possibilities in the fintech and insurtech space.

- Should have 10+ years of experience of building and maintaining enterprise level products and applications with at least 5+ years in leadership positions.

- Should have experience working in product / ecommerce companies preferably with startup ecosystems.

- Good to have experience in Python, application development on Android & iOS, adoption of open-source UI/UX development tools and open-source data engineering platform tools.

- Understanding of fintech / insurtech domains is a plus but not a must have.
