Course5 - Data Scientist

Essentials :

- 3-5 years of progressive experience in Data Science including: Predictive/Prescriptive, Statistical modeling, Machine Learning based Classification techniques, Data Visualization using various tools

- 3+ years of experience using R, SAS, MATLAB, or equivalent statistical/data analysis tools. Ability to transfer that knowledge to different tools

- Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas

- Expertise in visualizing and manipulating big datasets

- Carry maturity, aptitude, and patience when it comes to Data Exploration & Preparation for modeling

- Strong understanding of causal and predictive analytics techniques and ready to share live examples

- Ability to perform complex data analysis and statistical modeling in R or Python

- Knowledge of RDBMS concepts and experience working with SQL

- Master's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics) or data science certification from premier institute

Good to have :

- Proficiency with OpenCV

- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or Keras

- Experience with Map/Reduce, Hadoop & Hive
