Experience:

Should have at least 2 - 4 yrs of Pharmaceuticals Operation / First / Second Line Management experience in Kenya market.(Candidates having more geographic coverage and knowledge of various territories in Kenya will be preferred on priority).

Skills:

- Should have a sound knowledge of and clarity upon Pharmacology / Pharmacy & Therapeutic Segments of the products handled or promoted. (Brief knowledge on OTC, Gynaecological, CVS cosmetic range will be an advantage)

- Should have sound working knowledge to work on computer applications.

- Should be a good team player and an effective leader.

- Should be effective in Planning, co-coordinating and objective setting.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent command over English is must (Knowledge of French will be considered as additional advantage).

- Possess at least 2 to 4 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Field as medical representative or Country Manager in Kenya. Candidates having more geographic coverage and knowledge of various territories in Kenya will be preferred on priority.

- Kenya experience is Must. Candidate having experience of any of Neighboring Countries like Uganda, Rwanda, Somalia, Burundi, Sudan & Tanzania will have an added advantage.

Job Description :

The Incumbent will be responsible for all top line & Bottom line growth / profitability of business in assigned in Kenya

- Candidate will be heading Kenya Operations, He has to be well versed with government procedure and licenses required to initiate the commercial activity.

- Has to find out the idea territories and key areas to explore the business potential of given product range.

- Candidate must look forward to accept the challenges and implement the various strategies given by Management.

- Achieve or exceed agreed sales targets with the judicious implementation of designed marketing strategies and promotional tools.

- He would set the vision & strategy for the groups business in the in African markets, right from identification of products, operational capabilities, & business plans.

- He would be responsible to develop new business opportunities thorough corporate tie-ups, mergers, acquisitions and market development activities.

- Review Performance benchmarks on a monthly basis and implement corrective measures in the concern areas.

- Develop positive Image of the company through various communication initiatives with the local media; Referral Doctors; Families; Insurance Companies and Corporate.

- Build close liaison with target customers and KOLs of the territory to use them for scientific activities and has to ensure maximum generation of prescriptions of the products through given marketing team.

- Research Competitors - Provide competitive information such as bid situations, pricing data, or bundling arrangements in order to establish negotiated pricing contracts for assigned products.

- Gathers analyzes and delivers information from the field to allow the company to develop strategies and products appropriated to the Quality and Safety Testing market.
