YOUR ROLE SUMMARY Country IT Manager - South Africa and East Africa is responsible for providing technology support to the business through effective management of Business Applications and IT Infrastructure for the organization across South Africa, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Responsibilities include value add to the business in terms of emerging technologies, process improvements, process governance, project execution and overall maintenance of the infrastructure and solutions deployed. ROLE SPECIFICATIONS - Lead and support IT for the multiple business entities across South Africa, Mozambique, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. - Interact with and manage key stakeholders to ensure IT priorities are aligned with and drive key business objectives. - Drive strong governance, process controls and standardization across geographies. - Ensure excellence in execution of IT initiatives and drive business impact and value realization of IT investments in MS Dynamics AX, Sales Force Automation, Analytics etc. - Evaluate and drive adoption of new technologies relevant to the businesses. - Maintain organizational compliance to Software Licenses, IT Security and Internal Controls as per company's requirements - Manage IT spend for the businesses - Business Applications' Management and Support (either through external IT vendors or through central IT organization), ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs. - Liaise with and support the Central IT teams in rollout of global projects, policies and initiatives. - Drive implementation and adoption of business analytics, Sales Force Automation, and other new technology initiatives. - Should be familiar with typical business processes in areas of Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance and HR. EXPERIENCE - 15-20 years of experience in managing ERP applications (preferably MS Dynamics AX2012 R2), Business Applications, IT infrastructure, Application Development and Implementation - At least 5 years' experience should be in leading overall IT in a mid-sized end-user organization - Experience in any relevant industry like CPG, FMCG, Consumer Durables or Pharmaceuticals is preferred.
