Cost Controller-Glass Manufacturing

Salary Range: 10000 AED to 15000

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience

Industry: Manufacturing Experience is a must. If it is glass industry it would be an added advantage

Location: UAE

- Business Need/Purpose of the Role: Assist plant manager in the optimization of the financial performance of the plant (budget management, business cases, etc.), pperform monthly plant and financial reporting

- Support plant management on achieving monthly budget through close monitoring of purchase orders

As a plant controller : Plant controlling support

Provide support to plant managers to maximise the plant financial results, with appropriate studies to answer manager's requests and also proposals from the controller side, in all cases with respect to Group financial and controlling rules. Lead the forecast results on a monthly and yearly basis

Monthly Reporting :

- Plant reporting: create and maintain a monthly reporting for the plant management

- Monthly Financial reporting for the Group: prepare accruals with accounting, ensure accuracy of expenses and allocation keys, prepare reporting, analyze and comment results vs budget, Y-1 and forecast when applicable

- Be proactive to implement and adapt reporting elements

- Budget management support

- Coordinate the budget preparation: plant OPEX, consumptions (raw materials, energy.), depreciation, wages, and other fixes costs.

- Prepare and lead the monthly budget follow up : preparation of the plant dashboard on a monthly basis (preparation of data and analysis)

- Lead monthly reviews with RAK plant and Finance management (OPEX reviews and dashboard review), actions plans follow-up to improve cost management and efficiency

- In process of continuous improvement, be proactive to implement or improve tools and processes, together with the other plant controllers and plant managers.
