Cost Controller - Automobile

Job Profile :

- Product Costing for New and Existing Products.

- Product and Segment Wise Profitability.

- Product Pricing

- Standard Costing

- Variance Analysis and Reporting (Price & Consumption)

- Master Data Management for product / process costs and prices

- Support the activities of process improvement

- Lead yearly Cost Update process and quarterly forecasts.

- Ensure proper monitoring of Score Card for proper evaluation.

- Yearly Budgeting (Costing Update), quarterly forecasts and monthly performance reporting.

- Guide Plant Managers in all matters relating to Cost Control and Improvements

- Preparing CBA for new Investments.

- Co- ordination & Assist in monthly, quarterly reporting

- Assist in Special cost calculations for big orders

- Assist in monitoring and control of inventory

- Interact proactively for forecasted volumes Purpose:

- To interact with statutory auditors on matters of capacity and inventory & Warranty provisions etc.

- To interact with internal auditors on matters of capacity and area selected for internal audit

- Cost Audit data preparation for consolidation

Qualifications & experience :

- Essential knowledge about key costing, accounting, budgeting and management accounting principles in a manufacturing environment.

- Graduate Member of Institute of Cost Accountant of India with bachelor's degree in Engineering.

- Minimum 6-8 years- experience working in cost management

- Exceptionally well organized with an aptitude for data

- Hands-on working knowledge of SAP / other ERP

- Able to generate budgets and reports

- Strong presentation skills, able to explain concepts concisely and accurately

- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal

- Able to develop strong, cooperative relationships with department heads

- Creative thinking skills and ability to solve problems

- Solid networking and interpersonal skills
