Corporate Strategy/Financial Planning & Analysis Role - Financial Services Sector

A Diversified financial services group with primary focus on Lending, Asset Management, Education Loans, SME Lending is looking at building a corporate strategy team.

They would be keen to explore senior level candidates who hold skills related to Business Modelling, Cost Optimization, Financial Planning, Balance Sheet analysis and Business Analysis.

Our client is looking to build a talent pool to support the Group level think-tank by providing capabilities in various projects viz (indicative) Business Process Management, MIS, M&As, Strategy, etc.

Macro / Indicative role description

- Supporting the Exe Com on MIS, Business Process Management Systems, Processes, Research and other business related projects

- Partnering the Exe Com with ongoing projects by proactive approach and in taking ownership of new project and initiatives

- Playing a critical role in understanding business and utilizing the gained knowledge to come up with solutions

- Supporting business by gathering and developing critical reports and reviewing key opportunities

- Preparing, publishing and providing MIS for reports and dashboards on time against daily, weekly, monthly and annual deadlines

- Analyzing large data sets and critically thinking about solutions to problems, strategies and outputs using various analysis

- Continuously reviewing business process to achieve greater institutionalization of business data

- Identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvements and best practices though continuous improvement and learning

- Engaging, sharing and championing analytic and business intelligence tools and processes within Group

Post Graduate / Chartered Accountant with experience range of 8 to 12 yrs

- Prior experience in Financial Services sector (Housing Finance / NBFC / Insurance / AMC, etc.) and / or Big 4 Consulting would be preferred

- Ability to multitask and work in dynamic environment

- Excellent analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills

- Ability to articulate complex data and concepts both verbally and written

- Ability to think outside traditional approaches and evaluate implications on business

- Self-Motivator with the ability to work autonomously while managing tasks and deadlines appropriately
