Corporate Professionals - Senior Associate - Valuation

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform and present valuation models and reports for assigned projects

- Review/Finalisation of Team's work

- Executing Business Valuations, Regulatory Valuations, Financial Reporting Valuations, IBC Valuations - Securities or Financial Assets

- Review of Management Financials, Industry ratios and trends

- Design and implement valuation models

- Gather data through capitaline software, client consultations and independent research

- Application of Relative (CCM), Fundamental (DCF) and other Valuation models

- Ensuring compliance with internal systems / processes

- Assembling sufficient, credible evidence to ensure that valuation is properly suported

- Reporting to Senior Manager

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant

- M.B.A. (Finance)

- Registered Valuer (IBBI)

Experience:

- 2 to 4 years previous experience in an similar role/industry

Skills:

- Good understanding of Financial Statements, Accounting, Valuation and Finance concepts

- Understanding of Industry wise Valuations and Trends

- Knowledge of Indian Regulatory Environment pertaining to Valuations

- Experience/Understanding of Business / Financial Modelling

- Overview of Valuation Standards and generally accepted principles

- Understanding of Valuation approaches and methodologies (Discounted Cash Flow Method Equity Method, Discounted Cash Flow Method Firm Method, Comparable Companies Trading Multiple (CCM) Method, Comparable Companies Transaction Multiple (CTM) Method, Option Pricing Method (Black Scholes / Binomial Method)

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

- Good verbal and written communication

- Research inclination on Valuation and Deals taking place in Industry

- Organised and pay close attention to detail with ability to work on multiple clients/assignments and meet deadlines

- Team Player for working with Team, brainstorming valuation on research topics including Industry transactions and applying them in practice
