Our client firm is a leading business enterprise incorporated in 1991 by a group of professionals and industrialists with over 300 members across India and abroad. The firm has a diverse portfolio in various industry verticals from an award winning stone mining company to ship broking, investment advisory and real estate development.

Best-fit Professional:

We are looking for a Corporate Legal Counsel with prior experience of 3-5 years in a mid sized firm. Prior experience of working in real estate sector preferred.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

- In house legal counsel to oversee legal work for all group companies including in real estate, natural stone trading, travel, shipping and investment banking.

- Ensure all legal and other contractual documents such as lease agreements, marketing agreements, franchise agreements, confidentiality agreements, collaboration agreements etc. are effectively drafted, reviewed, interpreted and vetted.

- Manage IPR registrations for the group companies

- Coordinate with external lawyers for ongoing litigations for any of the group companies

- Draft submissions, applications for litigations of group companies and settlements with external lawyers.

- Attend litigation hearings along with external lawyers.

- Oversee compliance of various regulations for all group companies

- Oversee implementation of HR policies and contracts for employees across all companies. Ensuring compliance of all HR laws and regulations for all employees

- Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses for queries as may be raised from time to time.

Minimum Educational Qualifications:

- LLB, from a reputed full time law college. 3-5 years experience preferred in corporate legal practice.
