Experience & Skills

- LLB from a tier 1 University with a minimum of 2-4 years transactional experience in a PE/VC fund or start-up or at a top-tier law firm

- Experience across ODI, FDI, M&A, Fundraising, and Corporate Legal

- A combination of exposure to in-house legal affairs along with a legal firm is preferred

- Exceptional drafting and reviewing skills

- Effective communication with geographically dispersed stakeholders (internal & external)

- Self-starter, high ownership and accountability to accomplish projects

- Quick learner with detail orientation

- Ability to work proactively, independently, and reliably on multiple projects under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment R

Roles & Responsibilities

- Led multiple strategic operations and initiatives of the legal team

- Review the investment-related documents such as Term Sheet; Share Subscription Agreement; Shareholders Agreement; Compulsorily Convertible Debenture Subscription Agreement; Convertible Note Agreement; SAFE, Investor Rights Agreement in case of overseas investments; Employment Agreements for Founder(s); MOA and AOA; and Share Purchase Agreements.

- Lead the process of gathering and integrating stakeholder input on deal documentation and regularly participate in and/or lead the negotiation process.

- Obtain, organize, and serve as a point of contact for due diligence or projects, which will include working with internal clients to gather and confirm information necessary to finalize legal documents

- Serve as liaison for internal stakeholders, law firms, government agencies, vendors, and customers actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify

- Assisting with review, negotiation, and closure of contracts with customers, vendors, and partners while mitigating the commercial and legal implications of contract clauses, with obligation assessment of contracts and identification of risk mitigation strategies
