We are currently looking for a MANAGER L&D for one of the largest FMCG Business Conglomerates in India, to be based at their office in Kolkata.

Company Profile :

- Our client is A USD 40 billion multinational group, who employs more than 180,000 people in over 100 countries. The company enjoys a strong presence in the FMCG, Foods & Beverages, agribusiness,etc.

- Our client has featured on the Forbes Global 500, a comprehensive listing of the world's largest, most powerful public companies, as measured by revenue, profit, assets and market value.

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB :

To ensure execution of the Learning Strategy for Corp HR for the Conglomerate

KEY FOCUS AREAS :

- Training Needs Assessment

- Design and Develop training content & Curriculums

- Plan training calendars

- Design learning measurement methodologies

- Training Branding & communication

- Managing LMS & Training audit internally

- Training execution

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Training Needs Assessment

- Draw up a Needs gathering methodology to be able to capture needs from the Divisions

- Analyze the Training needs data to identify areas for learning intervention.

- Should be able to do Org Analysis, Person Analysis (KASH), Task and Performance level Needs Analysis.

Design and Develop Training Content & Curriculum :

- Create a basic outline and framework for a training / learning intervention

- Conduct rigorous research the content through traditional and new age tools.

- Partner with external consultants / institutions to help develop content

- Create mobile Application based learning modules and e learning modules with internal and external partner help

- Create Facilitator guides and participant guides for a program

- Have first-hand Instruction Design experience.

Plan Training Calendars :

- Create training calendars in partnership with Divisions and external partners / execution partners.

- Brand and publish the calendar to relevant stake holders

- Be in constant communication with all stakeholders to keep the calendar relevant and impactful

Design Learning Measurement Methodologies :

- Work with L&D Head and the Program Anchor to develop an effective training measurement methodology.

- Ensure measurement is in sync with the Return on Expectation of the program Sponsors and the business objectives

- Support the larger team to capture metrics

- Design and publish metrics in line with program objectives

- Loop back with Program Anchor, facilitator and any other significant program sponsor on the changes that might be needed based on the metrics and objectives met by each initiative after each event.

Training Branding & Communication :

- Create and design branding for the L&D initiatives

- Support the L&D Head in garnering Leadership support

- Design band communication plan & communication material - with help from partners

- Use digital media and creative branding for the initiatives

- Help sell the sizzle though appropriate communication on all high points and key success stories / impact achieved through a learning initiative.

Managing LMS and Training Audits :

- Work closely with the L&D team in CHR and if needed the businesses to capture the right data on the LMS

- Help the team to analyses and assist in interpreting the L&D related data from the LMS and other relevant sources

- Be technologically savvy to LMS and do basic problem solving

- Build close partnership with the MIS / IT teams

- Help HR Associate manage handling LMS vendors and LMS vendor related communication.

- Conduct periodic audits of the initiatives run to ensure compliance of all kinds - IP related, costs and adherence to overall norms of the Code of Conduct.

Training Execution :

- Be able to facilitate sessions independently - excellent communication, presence of mind, high EQ and an overall bent of mind towards reading and keeping oneself updated with latest research in the field of L&D is critical.

- Support and guide the execution team where needed.

- Ability to Proof read content

- Assist Head of HR in the conceptualisation and execution of learning initiatives.

- Manpower consultants

- Learning partners & institutes

- HR consultants

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

- MBA in HR, preferably from a reputed institute

- Candidate should have a formal qualification in HR with relevant experience in L&D

- 8 to 10 years of experience in HR with a minimum of 4 to 6 years in L&D or related area.

- Besides experience in execution, candidate should have also designed L&D interventions and should have a strong conceptual base

- First-hand experience of having facilitated sessions

- Certified to use some common psychometric tools like MBTI, Hogan, Belbin etc.

- Any ASTD certification will be an advantage

- Any papers or content published in books / media will be an advantage
