Corporate Finance Controller - Retail/FMCG

Job Purpose: To close the monthly accounts on time with zero error and maintain transparent accounting and exercising proactive approach to have better control mechanism over the processes. To develop & train the team and subsidiaries in such a way that they resolve their problem without any help & work effectively.

Responsibilities :

- Statutory Compliance and Audits : Establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures

- Ensure compliance with Group Policies and Accounting Standards

- Ensure compliance with Internal Financial Controls (IFC)

- Providing timely information to external auditors, tax auditors and internal auditors

- Interactions with statutory auditors and internal auditors to ensure timely closure of Limited Review, Annual Audits and Tax Audits.

- Preparation and Consolidation of Financial Statements :

- Responsible providing guidance to units and subsidiary on Accounting Standards.

- Responsible for maintaining the Companies Accounting Policy Manual

- Ensure smooth implementation of new Accounting standards in the organisation.

- Responsible for the company's standalone and Consolidated financial statement preparation

- Prepare and review PL and BS in line with the regulations

- Timely completion of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts

- Preparation of Opening Financial Statements for new subsidiaries.

GL Control :

- To close the monthly HO Accounts on time with zero error and maintain transparent accounting and exercising proactive approach to have better control mechanism over the processes and practices.

- To review the unit's and subsidiary monthly closure process.

- Review the Trial Balance

- Ensure process adherence to POE, COA of the company

- Ensure compliance of accounting checklist

- Review of Provisions
