Corporate Event Planner - Advertising Firm

Job Purpose: We are looking for a successful and enthusiastic Event Planner to produce developer engagement/community building events(both online and offline) from conception through to completion.The best fit for our company is an event planner who can manage the daily details with big-picture thinking to ensure truly unique experiences

Key responsibilities:

Overview:. As an Events planner you will join our Community Managers, Marketing, and Product teams to build a world class virtual and in-person events program. You'll help scale events globally, connecting developers with engaging events on audio, video, and live platforms

- Drive negotiations and project management of critical events and deliver flawless event design and execution

- Maintain accuracy and accountability of event budget, manage final billing and reconciliation, evaluate results against goals, deliver wrap-up reports, and generate leanings for improvement

- Nurture and build relationships with vendors, venues, and other industry contacts to craft and implement creative and logistical aspects of all events

- Work with community members and external participants and speakers to give them a great experience when participating in the events.

- Oversee experiences from conception through post-event, managing preparations, production, and event breakdown, ensuring consistent, high-level service throughout all phases

- Scale events across audio, video, and live (in-person) platforms

- Organize, coordinate, and promote podcasts, live streams, virtual presentations,in-person meetups and conferences.

- Measure the business impact of events. Tie event attendance to key product metrics such as acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention

- Create innovative ways to grow attendees across all events.

- Cooperate with marketing and PR to promote and publicize event

- Proactively handle any arising issues and troubleshoot any emerging problems on the event day

Skills and Qualifications:

Must have:

- Proven success as an event planner or coordinator(Minimum 2 years of experience)

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Ability to handle pressure and make split-second decisions

- Excellent organizational skills, including multitasking, time management, and meticulous attention to detail

- Excellent Analytical skills

- A firm understanding and ability to speak about technical products and initiatives

Employment Type: Full-Time/Permanent

Workdays: 5 days a week (Mon to Fri)

(Working Hours: Must be able to overlap 3-4 hours with US time zone, since our major stakeholders are based out of US)
