Corporate Controller - CA

Client is a Retail Conglomerate, having its footprint in Fashion Retail industry Pan India.

Must Have :

- The candidate must be CA with 15 to 18 years of post-qualification experience

- Must have handled Big 4 auditors

- Must have worked with a listed company

- Must have worked with a company that has multiple subsidiaries

- Must be an expert in Controllership, with good technical knowledge

- Must have had Commercial and Accounts exposure.

- Good to have had exposure in taxation.

- Good to have had exposure in Assurance function / Internal Financial Controls.

- Good to have had exposure in Risk Management

- Must be good in people handling - Team management and Peer Group

Job Description :

- To finalise standalone account and consolidated accounts on a quarterly basis, in line with the applicable accounting standards, as per timelines.

- Establishing, monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures

- Ensure compliance with Group Policies and Accounting Standards

- Ensure compliance with Internal Financial Controls (IFC)

- Providing timely information to external auditors, tax auditors and internal auditors

- Interactions with statutory auditors and internal auditors to ensure timely closure of Limited Review, Annual Audits and Tax Audits.

- Preparation and Consolidation of Financial Statements

- Responsible for maintaining the Companies Accounting Policy Manual

- Ensure smooth implementation of new Accounting standards in the organisation.

- Prepare and review PL and BS in line with the regulations
