Corporate Controller - Buy Side Financial Services Firm - CA

Our Client is one of the leading international buy-side firms

Job Description:

- Responsible for month-end, quarter-end and annual accounting books and records including oversight of revenue, calculations, AP/AR, expenses, corporation income tax accruals, various reconciliations and substantiation for both local statutory requirements and the US GAAP/UK GAAP / SEC reporting

- Review of Corporate Income Tax, GST and TDS returns and related payments, working closely with Global Corporate Tax team to manage tax matters and relationships with local tax consultants.

- Oversight of India expense management including budgets, approval and payment of invoices and managing documentation required for overseas payments and vendor selection

- Cash management of entities & settling the inter-company balances

- Liaising frequently with corporate / fund controllers, tax, compliance, legal teams in international offices to ensure various matters are addressed proactively, timely and accurately

- Working closely with the other internationally based corporate controller team members on initiatives and ensuring team best practice

The Successful Candidate:

- Must be a CA with 1-4 years of post-experience in the financial services industry only (CA 2013 to CA 2018)

- Should have previous experience with an NBFC/FS firm

- Hands-on with financial accounts, controls, taxation & regulatory aspects of finance function

- Strong analytical & communication skills are a must for a good fitment in the international organisation
