Job Description :

- Engage with external stakeholders- media, press, regulatory bodies, etc to protect and enhance the company's reputation and brand

- Manage senior relationships within the organization to translate the set objectives in corporate communications campaigns and plans

Client Details :

Our client is India's leading renewable energy IPP with interests across solar, wind and hybrid investments. With some very prestigious investors backing the firm, they have a strong track record of organic and inorganic growth having nearly doubled their operational capacity in each of the last three years.

Description :

- Develop and execute communications strategies and initiatives to support the organization's activities in the energy sector

- Interface and consult regularly with cross-functional teams across the company

- Communicate effectively to press, bloggers, analysts and influencers about issues impacting the sector

- Drive positive coverage across a broad range of media, including stakeholders, businesses and advertising trade outlets Support and manage press for branding company as a leader with stories around engagement, CSR & sustainability

- Have good understanding, relationships and knowledge of Indian media, including regional media

- Manage agency engagement effectively

- Liase with industry associations, embassies and other thought leaders in the sector to enhance relevant engagement

- Organize press briefings, media sessions, and events

- Prepare briefing materials and manage executive spokespeople

Profile :

- Graduate/postgraduate in PR/Communications/Journalism or similar relevant field from a reputed institute

- Should possess a minimum of 15 years experience and proven track record of handling projects independently

- Must have strong existing networks especially with Media

- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, energetically, self-starter and have a get things done mindset

- Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

- Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully per timelines
