Key Responsibilities:

The role holder is responsible for creating and enhancing brand awareness of the Company to facilitate growth in business volumes. The role holder will develop, implement and regularly evaluate the advertising and brand communication plan for the business to ensure alignment with business objectives. In addition he/she will also be responsible for all Customer insight, research and NPS to enhance the customer experience across touch points.

Managing the Companies Brand

- Defining the strategic direction for the brand - formulating the brand and communication strategy.

- Developing insightful and compelling brand and product propositions to raise awareness and create preference for Company

- Developing mass-media communication and executing the media strategy within budgets

- Working closely with all external ATL, BTL, Media, Research agencies to deliver outstanding creative quality that represents Companies brand values in the most insightful, innovative manner

- Be the brand custodian and ensure that the brand is a business driver that plays an active role in the company attaining its business objectives

Building customer understanding

- Enhancing consumer understanding through research eg. triggers and barriers, brand-track etc.

- Using research to develop insightful communication and product propositions

- Devise an ongoing customer communication and engagement strategy

Cross functional engagement & brand ownership

- Working closely with the Product, Internet, Operations and PR teams to ensure companies brand guidelines are consistent and that brand values are suitably represented in all customer facing communication

Critical Tasks and Expected Contributions / Results:

- Develop and deliver an innovative brand strategy and advertising plan consistent with companies brand image and values to ensure brand awareness and recall in the Company’s target customer segments

- Plan and ensure successful implementation of lead gen initiatives and on ground properties

- Provide ‘market intelligence/insight’ to the Sales teams to support strategic/ tactical initiatives that support the Company’s business objectives

- Use innovations to deliver a media multiplier. Identify and execute sponsorship opportunities to get the right associations for the company

Experience / Knowledge Requirements:

- 10-12 years’ experience in brand management and marketing

- Exposure to qualitative & quantitative research, media planning, managing agencies and external suppliers

- Having prior experience of working in a multi - cultural, fast paced and evolving environment

Personal Competencies Required:

- Project management skills to carry out multiple tasks in a project to their logical conclusion

- Knowledge of leading practices in Marketing across industries

- Strong networking and influencing skills

- Negotiation and relationship management skills

Education and Other Requirement:

- Management graduate, with a specialization in marketing from a premier MBA institute/ university
