Key responsibilities of the role may include-:
- Interface with client teams (global and local) to identify improvement opportunities in client businesses
- Assist in developing solutions for identified opportunities in all lines of banking business
- Typical responsibilities would include;
a) Map - as is- and designing target operating model
b) Design - to be- processes / structures / work flow management/ business solution
c) Develop and manage business requirement specification
d) Proposal support and response
- Assist in the development of relevant new assets, tools and point of views
- Incorporate best practices & development methodologies into every stage of the project management lifecycle including Program Management
- Lead specific project work streams
Requirement:
- Experience between 3 to 8 yrs in the Banking/ consulting/ solution industry
- Should have a good understanding of at least one key core banking solution -SAP Banking/ Oracle/ Finacle/ T24/ Misys/ Fidelity
- Good understanding of both Retail and Corporate Banking
- Experience in process design, managing business requirements, solutioning, functional solution, testing, solution delivery lifecycle, change management
- Exposure to working on client proposals, RFP response and solution evaluation
- Understanding and awareness of different business operating model
- Exposure to defining functional architecture is desirable
Key Competencies and Characteristics:
- Should have excellent communication, presentation and client interfacing skills.
- Should have an analytical bent of mind with capability of deciding on nature of information needed and the ability to derive business sense of such information
- Should be able to think logically and present ideas from a business perspective
